Vangaurd Princess 6/30

Well strike up the band. If you don't like lolis or don't know what that is do not apply. Arcana Hearts 1, special, and 2 are some of the most played fighter out of japan. Fetish or not these games have some of the best mechanics seen on a fighter in a long time. Well today I found a new FREE game yes I said FREE from our friends at the SRK boards. This game made on 2d fight maker engine by Enterbrain is very fun and look great to be designed by one dude. The game boast 10 playable characters and has 4 assist character. The look of the game is wonderful for a FREE game. Vanguard Princess has some good mechanics and is not like many other games. It really takes you back to a time before dail-a-combo. So the game has a very unique feel to it. It you don't like this kind of games that is cool you don't have too but i like to give fighters a try no matter the graphic stand point. This game is really solid for it to be free and I want to take time out to say that this guy deserves a huge applaud for what he has made.

The game is on PC and unless you have one of the worse machine ever put together you should have no reason to try to check it out. We did how ever run into some bugs trying to run it so if you need some help with that visit the shouryuken.com boards.

Well sorry for the lack of updates since last week people. Over the weekend i got a little charred being outside cooking for a very long time lol. Well today the only update that I really have is that I have been working on the Ipod 3.0 OS lately. The hacker community has already found their way through the firmware. It really did not take long mainly because of all of the betas that was sent out before the commercial one hit the stands. Well let me say that they have upgraded it just enough to make people want it but not enough to make it super important. They did add some good points but they still have locked us out of most of the selling points of the new features. (Come on Bluetooth is still headset only.) The Community will probably get it unlocked sooner or later but for now once again Apple has put competition to rest. Let's just see how Zune HD does. There is also so many rumors of a new Ipod to follow the release of their new Iphone. If you got a new Iphone or Ipod Touch then look for the snow is all I can say.

Indy and the Aliens

Well last night i took in a film that I have already seen but mostly forgot. Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull is one better movies that came out last year. 4/5 Movie for sure. The only thing that I had something to say about it is that they went all aliens on me. But really the series has a lot about things from past folklore so they stayed with the format. The only thing is now it is 1957 and we already at the alien point. What is else there to do now and will Indy be back or will now Shia take the franchise. Either way good movie to watch twice so 4 thumbs up.

Misawa R.I.P, New Champ

Posted by Aoi Nagi on Friday, June 19, 2009 , under | comments (0)

For all that don't know by now. The passing of Mitsuharu Misawa of Pro Wrestling NOAH happened on 6/14/09 after he took a backdrop from Akitoshi Saito. It was a freak accident and nothing is going to happen to him because of it. This was sad but it happened due to the bad state that Misawa in. He will be truly missed and I hope the best for NOAH.

But the news goes from bad to worse. NOAH was already without Naomichi Marufuji, then the death of Misawa and now Jun Akiyama is now sidelined with a number of injuries. They will missing too much upper talent. Can NOAH stay afloat? They did finally pass the torch on so to speak as Go Shiozaki is the new GHC champ. He has some big shoes to fill and this is going to be a big burden on him now. Hopefully they make this into a new direction for the company.

Forgot to mention these 2 little tid bits. The Hanshin has traded the one of the young pitchers that they had Taiyo Fujita to Seibu Lions for some backup help in center field. The will get Shogo Akada. Now you would think of this as a terrible trade mainly because the Tigers already have Akahoshi in the center. But after you look at it very closely. The Tigers have need basically because Akahoshi is not hitting as of right and is struggling. They could use him in the center. Now as for Fujita. He has not done much of anything for awhile now and Seibu needs a closer or reliever. The Lions lost Graham for awhile who was their closer. So all and all the tigers might have gotten an ok deal out of this because they have just run out of options with Fujita and don't know what else to do with him anymore. Hopefully they find something to do him.

Also there is a little speculation of Hanshin might be after GODZILLA !!!!!!!!!!!! I will leave it at that. His contact is up with the Yankees after 2010. He has always wanted to play in Hanshin so could we see an new outfielder in 2010. Time will tell.

Failure is not an option! But it happens.

The Hanshin Tigers have been just horrible this season and it looks as though they are on their way to be the new Yokohoma Baystars. This is unbelievable. Pointing fingers does not work this time around because everyone is at fault. The Tigers went from #2 in the Central (They would have one the Regular Season Championship but failed horrible in the last month of the season.) to this. It is not even possible. Is it? How could a team with such high paid superstars be playing so terrible. Let's see. For starters the team did start the season without starting catcher A.Yano. They did have a good replacement in Kanoh as he has been playing wonderful. They also have been with out several pitcher at one time or another. Iwata, Kubota, Fujikawa, Andoh, and several other have been hit with injury bug at some point or another. But Arai is back and healthy. Well he still is not hitting. The Tigers also picked up import Kevin Mench and he was a just a bust. They spend so much money and for th second year in a row they tried to get a Right Fielder but came up with lemons (08 Lew Ford). This team is underachieveing terribley and that is one of the worst things. Mayumi the new manager for the team seems to not even know what he is doing at all. Even the owners don't have clue at what it going on with the team. They have not been this bad since the early 90's even before I started to watch the NPB. Something has to change here. I think that the tigers will not make a post season run for the first time in years. They have too many holes to address at the moment and I dont think they have the ability to dig themselves out at this point. We need Superman, Moses, or Aliens to fix this problem. This season has just been awful but they have had some small silver linings such the siging of Craig Brazell. This guy is an amazing hitter. I have not seen a player hit this many homeruns in such a short time. He came on to the time in the middle of Inter League play and has just been crazy. They have also been showings of flash from Sakaruai and the fore mentioned Kanoh. Something has to give or the whole team might out on its ear. Even the owner said that he is thinking about releasing under performing older players. They need to interject some kind of life before is completely too late but the only thing now is that is could already be too late.

6/17 New Updates

Posted by Aoi Nagi on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 , under | comments (1)

I finally got twitter added to the page. Well last night was boring as hell. Xbox Live was down and I had nothing to do lol.

Well anyways today update will be about King of Fighters XII. OMG I have never been more excited about a KOF. This games looks amazing and plays amazing. July looks to be one of the best games that SNK has probably ever made. This games has some of the best game play out of the series yet. They have introduced a more flowing combo system, pushbacks, countering system, and a new stun hit combo system. This game will be out on both X360 and PS3 in July. I dare you to find a better 2d fighter. Blazblue will have it's following but KOF has defintely reinvented the game.

This is the characters in the game. They have stated that there is 2 new characters that are not in the arcade port. Mature and Elisabeth are in but there is rumors of DLC and hidden characters on the console ports as well as some possible CONSOLE EXCLUSIVE items. Just wait to see. I can not wait to see how they have changed what we think SNK games should play like. 2009 is the year of the figther and with Blazblue, KOF XII, Chaos Code, Tekken 6, and many other games coming 2010 is looking damn good.

Well now that is out of the way I have 100 more to talk about lets see. King of Fighter XII will be here in July but this nothing. I am a obscure fighter person. Namely games that come from the land of the rising sun. Lets look at the list shall we.

Chaos Code. A new game from a new company. It has a very nice game style similar to Rumble Fish.

I have been playing around with several games lately. UFC has to be without a doubt the best in it's genre. That would including FN and the other mma style games. Only if it did not destroy your hand trying to mash a submission out of someone. Also been going back into the past and played some Virtua Fighter 5 on Xbox 360. Missed the game and it is was one of the better 3D fighters to come out. Very indept. I will covering some more media soon and will have pictures up on direct things. I have a passion for baseball, Actually Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball). So I will be giving the dirt on the rest of the seaon and the upcoming Pro Yakyu Spirits 6 game on Ps2 and Ps3. More blogging to follow
