Well I tried another recipe on the other day. This time it was Stir-Fry with beef and shrimp over rice.

Well first I fried the beef with garlic and then the shrimp with red peppers.

Then I took the veggies and stir fried them with soy. Then combine them all back together.

You then plate the rice.

and finally add your toppings.

1/2 lbs Beef steak
10-20 frozen shrimp
red pepper
garlic
2-4 tbls soy
12 oz frozen veggies
1 cup of rice
3 cups water (rice)

Well my friends it is has finally come. Pro Yakyuu Spirits 6. I got the chance to play around with it finally getting last night. This game is a good as the last game and has some very good tweaks to the game play. But first I want to talk about the much anticipated part of the game WBC mode. Yes, Konami bought the rights to produce the WBC classic in their Japanese only game. Sad to say that this will probably never hit state side. WBC mode is water down from the game itself. You can not create or customize anything but they give a full on experience of WBC with Exhibition and Championship modes. You have all the teams from the classic Powerhouse Japan, Korea, USA. Even the lesser known team Netherlands, Taipei, South Africa (THEY PLAY BASEBALL ? ) are all here. Every team has the exact, yes my friends, the exact roster for the team. USA has Jeter, Oswalt, J.P. Howell, and everyone that made the roster. Japan of course sports Matsuzaka, Ichiro, Iwamura, Johjima. Even David Ortiz, Pedro Martinez and others have made the game. They all look like who they are supposed to be. Just some of the pointed out stars on this one. Classic has an interesting feel to it. They have names all in english except for the Japanese team which is great because you dont have look up their names in Japanese to translate to whatever. You can not mix NPB teams versus the WBC teams so that goes right out of the door but you can have full on head to head play with the worlds greatest. I give WBC mode a 9 only thing that could make it better is to have online play. But this is the PS2 version so they did not add it. On PS3 it would be a 10 with better graphics and online play.

Ok now onto the good stuff. All of the old stuff from the last version and has added some great tweaks. First of all lets start with the things that I noticed. Firstly they have added about 10-15 new animations with players. They also added something that was missing in the last game broken bats finally. BROKEN BATS ! wow. I did not get to check if they finally added check swings or not. They have also changed the sound of when he ball hits the catchers glove. One thing that is very noticeable is the pitch types. Curves has such a long curve on them now that it is funny. but you can change that feature in the options. They also have seemed to fix the AI. They swing away now more than ever. The hit animations are different with them changing how they look depending on where the ball is being hit to. All and all a good upgrade.

The menus are a different in the main menus the game is all white and grays with classy BGM. But when you are looking at a player in the utility screens they choose to go with silver and metallic colors. That I did not like that much but i am sure it will grow on me. They did however do something that I think is just awesome. They have added the faces of each player above their attribute card in the menus which is just great. Why? For the people who don't know what every players looks like or their number this helps. Way to go. One thing that is still missing that i wish they had done is character customize. That way when a pitcher gets a new pitch you can just add it or if someone dyes their hair you can change it.

The game has all of the NPB teams with their current jerseys and the 2 All Star Teams. The roster are all up to date (circa 5/30) so most of the teams have their orders set to how they was before release of the game. So that means no FUKUMORI for Rakuten but Hanshin has Brazell.

The game still has the same setup as before with Exhibition, Climax, Stardom, Spirits and Utilities. If you played the last version it is identical to that. I will give a better look at the Climax and Stardom mode later. But the Stardom has really changed. You have much more to play around with including the fact you start you career as either a HS player, college player or an amateur (independent league).

Climax is mostly the same as before but i will have to sim a season just to tell you how the end of the season goes now. Videos has shown that the new drafting system is different than before but what I am looking for is CAN YOU FINALLY USE FREE AGENTS! That has been one of my biggest pest about the game. There is no FA system at all. That sucks. Yes I know that mainly most of the players don't leave their teams but I would like the option to do so.

Well my review of this game is my opinion but once again I think that Konami has really out done themselves compared to games like MLB2k and Show this is by far the best game and with the addition of international play this makes this game one of the most complete baseball games of our time. For anyone who has not see or heard about it pick up it is a hands down buy if you love NPB or even just love baseball period.

Well today people not really that much to talk about here. Last night I got to play a little hands on with COD:WAW and went through the motions of some more Blazblue. I fired up some hamburgers and chilled. But I found myself listening to the BB soundtrack which is composed by Daisuke Ishiwatari. This guy has to be one of the best guitar stringers out there. He has fame from the Guilty Gear series some of the best cords heard in a video game. The best part is that the songs have no voice but still can make you listen to them over and over.

TORA! update.

Well this has been a very disappointing season all around with the Tigers. Hanshin is in 5th place with only 3 months to go in the season this is just terrible. They have went from the brink of being champions to so close to being dead last. The story here is not just one problem but many. Pitching has been terrible and he starting line up shows it. SUGIYAMA started in one the past games. He has been a second teamer for a long time. The bullpen is just going through the motions. Hitting is also just as bad if not worse. Arai has become a joke, Kanemoto can not find the ball, and even the one bright spot can not carry the team. They have 8 errors in one game. That is just unheard of and to top things off the coaching is just is bad. They first year captain has really made a mockery of the team at this point. So bad that even the die hards are not wanting to follow the team anymore. They are half through the season and there is not a turn around in site. The return of Yano might help but not in areas that they need the most. Akahoshi is out with back problems, and the can not buy a win with 10,000 yen! I hate to say it but it looks like it is over for the Tigers.

Ok last night i made some goodness. I tried out a recipe for some down home Japanese Kabob. Kushikatsu or Kushiage (non-Kansai). Ingredients are a pound of pork loin, onion (Japanese long onion, American sweet, or Welsch.) Bell pepper. You can also use potato, mushroom or carrots.

First thing is to cut and season the pork loin. You need to chop it into small bit sized pieces. Salt(season salt) and pepper. Let set for at least a half hour.

Now the fun part you will need to chop up you veggies and the combine with them pork on a skewers. You can arrange how ever you like. Will be deep frying these so you will need to have a fryer. Next you will bread the items. 2 eggs lightly beaten, flour (lightly peppered), and Panko (breadcrumbs). You will need to flour them the wash them in eggs then flour again and eggs again. This way you have a big crunch. Then you will dip it into panko and deep fry it.

You can eat with a beer, rice, cabbage, or many other items. I also made a BBQ+soy and sugar sauce which was really tasty. This ended up being such a great project but you should have seen my kitchen LOL. Anyways hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Well this is from a few weeks ago. It did not turn out completely how I thought but was still good. Anyways I did not make this from scratch so I will not talk to much about it. This Vietnamese egg rolls (spring rolls), fried rice (which I did make) that had peas, eggs, onion in it and Pot Stickers (fried dumplings). It ended up being good but not restaurant quality.

7/6 and July 4th Weekend

Well people the good ole American Past time of getting fatter just past. Yes it was the July 4th weekend and BBQ was aplenty (I live Memphis, TN.). Well the big update is after being punk into doing so I finally picked up a copy of BlazBlue on the XBOX 360. Let me say that i have a love/hate relationship with this game already. The first thing is that the game is Guilty Gear but really much slower so you can do some better things with it. At first glance I was like OK this is going to be awesome. THEN the hell which is online play hit me. OMG! This game is like a not so fun Foreign language. The hit boxes are so different and range to say the least has really changed. Most of the characters are similar to those from Guilty Series. The music, the feel, everything screams Guilty Gear but just like in Transformers there is more than meets the eye. The game is solid but is like starting over from scratch even if you play GG. I think it is was worth 49.99 not the 59.99 I paid for it but is still a solid game. Over the weekend I have some very good games with people. Many of whom are from Japan and have already mastered the game play. The online experience is good. One of the better ones in a while. You can create rooms, spectate, record vids. The game is really good in all of those aspects. Only wish some others have followed this example ( SF 4 ) well all in all I am bitching about but is not such a bad game after all. Maybe with a little more practice I can actually be a force to feat again in the 2D game scene. The year of the fighting keeps getting better and better. Next up is King of Fighters 12 for PS3/360 and Melty Blood Actress Again for PS2.

海外の方もたくさんいらしたらしく、メールもいただきました。
Thank You Jeff!

This is from the maker of Vanguard Princess. I emailed him and he sent me a thank you note. Well the funny this is that i found out that this guy worked for Capcom. The would be the reason why the game is so good and solid.
